Most people arrange their furniture without thinking twice about where the outlets are. A couch gets pushed against a wall, a desk slides into a corner, and suddenly half the room’s electrical access points are blocked. When outlets end up behind heavy furniture, the workarounds tend to create real problems: long cords draped across walkways, daisy-chained power strips, or plugs bent at odd angles under the weight of a bookcase. Something as simple as a short extension cord with flat plug can solve the clearance issue behind furniture, but the bigger question is why so few people plan their room around electrical access in the first place.
